Property A rare find and found in a fantastic sea front location is this three bedroom former coast guard cottage. The property obviously enjoys fantastic sea views and the promenade provides lovely walks and bike rides to both Herne Bay and . There is no passing traffic giving an air of privacy but is found within easy access to all amenities. The property briefly comprises of a conservatory, two reception rooms and a kitchen to the ground floor with three bedrooms and a bathroom to the first floor. There is also a useful loft room. Outside to the rear is a decked courtyard with an outbuilding currently used as an office. The good sized front garden has well stocked flower beds and a raised sundeck to enjoy the sea views from. Herne Bay, and Whitstable are all within easy access where you will find a wide variety of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a mainline railway station providing a regular service to London and the Kent coast. There are numerous leisure, recreational and sporting clubs/facilities also to be found.

Our Time Here We are located directly on the promenade in a beautiful seaside setting. It is very peaceful, with private access and no through roads. One of the best things about living here is despite feeling very secluded we are no more than five minutes away from everything we need; supermarkets, healthcare, the train station and bus routes. Our home is an ex-coastguard station, built in 1850 and the character is clear from the outset, with original flagstone incorporated in the design. We love the panoramic sea views and that no two days are ever the same. It is amazing to have the changing colours, tides with different parts of the beach showing, boats and wildlife on our doorstep. On warmer days it can be exotic and you feel like you could be anywhere, while we enjoy being able to lay in bed looking out watching the storms. The large family living area at the front of the house is a great social space, it provides room for a lot of people and is an enjoyable spot for dining or relaxing, while overlooking the sea, especially when watching the sunsets. In addition to the living areas and bedrooms we have a room with natural light in the loft and an outer room which we use as an office. The rear courtyard area is decked and is a real suntrap. We are going to miss the beach lifestyle when we come to leave; being able to canoe, paddle board and windsurf without having to transport anything will be hard to replicate.
