FRANCESCO MOORE MUSE, HOOSIERS SET SHUTOUT RECORDS • Big Ten Preseason Honors List • Goalkeeper Trey Muse tied the NCAA single-season record for individual shutouts with 18 clean sheets in 2017 • Muse matched fellow Hoosier John Putna (1979) and David Meves (2009) who also posted 18 shutouts in one season. • The 18 shutouts on the season is an Indiana team record, matching the team mark set in 1979. • IU posted nine-straight shutouts in 2017, setting a program record and eclipsing the 1975 and 1976 teams that combined for seven-straight.

SCORELESS MINUTES RANKED FOURTH ALL-TIME • In 2017, Trey Muse and the Hoosier defense posted a consecutive scoreless-minute streak that reached an incredible 966:28 minutes, ranking as the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history.

HISTORICALLY STINGY DEFENSE • Indiana allowed just seven goals in the 2017 season - the second- fewest allowed in school history - and the least in a season since allowing a school-record four in 1979. • The Hoosiers were the only team in the nation to not allow two goals in any match in 2017. • IU allowed just two goals through the first 15 matches this season, IN THE POLLS (PRESEASON) which was a school record. • Todd Yeagley was named Indiana head men’s soccer coach on December 18, 2009 and is entering his ninth year as the Hoosiers’ leader.

2012 NCAA National Champions • In just his third season as head coach, Yeagley led Indiana to the 2012 NCAA title, the eighth championship in IU history. The Hoosiers became the first No. 16 seed to win the championship, compiling victories over Xavier, at No. 1 Notre Dame, at No. 9 North Carolina, No. 12 Creighton and No. 3 Georgetown during their tournament run.

• Yeagley was named 2012 Soccer America Coach of the Year as he and his father Jerry become the only father- son duo to have won Division I men’s soccer championships.

PERSONAL Year-By-Year • In 2017, the Hoosiers reached the College Cup Final, falling in double overtime to Stanford. Indiana was unbeaten HOMETOWN: Bloomington, Ind. in the team’s first 24 matches and posted an overall record of 18-1-6 on the year, finishing the year ranked No. 2 in FAMILY: Wife - Suzy; the nation. Yeagley and the rest of the IU coaches were named the Men’s Midwest Region Staff of the Year (SOY) Sons - Ben, Grant & Jay for Division I Institutions by the United Soccer Coaches. Both Grant Lillard and Andrew Gutman earned All-America honors, as the Hoosiers set the school mark for shutouts in a season with 18. HIGH SCHOOL: Bloomington South COLLEGE: Indiana • The 2016 campaign was another stellar one for Yeagley and the Hoosiers, as IU finished the season with a 12-2-7 record on the year and ended the season ranked No. 9 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll. IU reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the 36th time in program history. Yeagley saw Tanner Thompson get selected PLAYING EXPERIENCE in the MLS SuperDraft by Minnesota United FC, while Richard Ballard signed a professional contract with INDIANA Louisville City FC. Both Thompson and Grant Lillard earned All-America honors for Indiana after stellar seasons. 1991-94: Midfielder/Defender Playing Career • As a player, Yeagley was a four-time All-American at Indiana (1991-94) and in 1994 was named the Missouri PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Athletic Club National Player of the Year. During his stint as a student-athlete in Bloomington, Yeagley was a two- COLUMBUS CREW (MLS) time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. He led the Hoosiers to three Big Ten titles (1991, 1992, 1994) and a 79-9-5 overall record. 1996-2002: Midfielder 2002: Assistant General Manager • He remains third on IU’s career assists list with 40, and shares the Big Ten single-season assists record with the 14 he recorded in 1993.

COACHING EXPERIENCE • After his playing days at Indiana, Yeagley also enjoyed a successful seven-year professional career in Major INDIANA League Soccer with the Columbus Crew. Columbus advanced to the MLS Playoffs in five of Yeagley’s seven seasons 2003: Volunteer Assistant Coach with the team and won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 2002.

2004-08: Assistant Coach Honors 2010-present: Head Coach • Since returning to his alma mater, Yeagley has produced 12 Draft picks, three MLS Homegrown signees, 37 All-Big Ten honorees (19 first-team selections) and four Big Ten Player of the Year selections. WISCONSIN 2009: Head Coach Personal • Yeagley is a member of the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame and in 2013 was inducted into the Monroe County Hall of Fame and the IU Athletics Hall of Fame.

• Yeagley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from Indiana in 2002. He and his wife, Suzy, have three children: Ben (17), Grant (15) and Jay (12).
