Last month the team of D. Taylor (Skip), Alice Brierly (Vice), Marsha Hendrickson (Second), and Maggie Clarke (Lead); played two 8-end games, placing 3rd out of 12 entries in the Women’s Evening Division Bonspiel at the Cricket Club on Sat., Feb. 6th.

The Wilson team of Renie (Skip), Debbie Gates (Vice) Cathy Fay (Second), and Kirsten Krepps (Lead) completed in the Stayner Granite Club Ladies bonspiel Ontario, on Feb. 27, 2016 where they won the fi rst draw and came in third overall congratulations!

Team Wilson (Renie Wilson – Skip, Anne Marie Ruddell – Vice, Melissa Aucoin – Second, Heather Mastine – Lead) attended this year’s Dixie belle two-day bonspiel that had a Downton Abbey theme.

Thrilled to end up in the Second Event they fought very hard against Team Polito from Dixie. It came down to the last rock in the last end. The Dixie skip had a very diffi cult draw through a narrow port to score her one point for the win and she made it (but not before a measure confi rmed the win)! A very exciting game from beginning to end – unfortunately Team Wilson was not on the winning side this time. A great time was had by all!
