This project completed the interchange and relieved congestion at Parksmith Road near the Mead community, north of Spokane. It included final grading, gravel sub-surface, and final paving of the northbound and southbound on and off ramps. Most of the basic grading of the ramps was a component of an earlier NSC grading project. The Parksmith interchange project was the final component in the northern 5 mile section of the North Spokane Corridor. The interchange provides connectivity to the retail and residential Mead community as well as the nearby commercial and industrial property, adding convenient and direct access to the City of Mead and to Alderwood RV Resort and Self Storage.
