Appointment Requirements: • Grade 8 / Abet level 1 qualification. • Six – 12 months relevant experience • Must be physical & mentally fit. • No criminal record

Key Performance Areas: The job includes the following: Weed removal; litter picking; street sweeping, removing of stickers and pamphlets from street furniture, poles and road signs, cleaning informal settlements assisting with clean-up campaigns, Kleena Joburg events and all basic service delivery.

Appointment Requirements: • Grade 10 / NQF level 2. • Minimum of 1 -2 years working experience. • Knowledge of relevant wards and basic service delivery requirements. • Knowledge of the environment and use of maps. • Knowledge of safety procedures and safe working conditions. • Knowledge of use tools of trade • Procedures with accurate record keeping.

Primary Function: To lead the visible service delivery workforce, assist the supervisor in the supervision of General Worker and daily execution of duties e.g. street sweeping, litter picking, weeding, removal of sticker from street furniture, poles and road signs and basic cleaning service delivery functions. Check every morning that General Workers wear the correct protective clothing. Manage staff through informal and formal discussions
Key Performance Areas: Manages and leads a team General Workers. Communicates safety practices and deadlines to team. Motivates and influences team members and assesses performance. Provide assistance in managing of staff and keeps management updates on team’s performance.
Leading Competencies: Ability to work under pressure.
Core Competencies: Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); good administration and communication; good customer services skills required.
