Center for Evaluating the Research Pipeline, Computing Research Association, Washington, DC Research Associate | June 2014 - July 2015 Research Assistant | Aug. 2013 - June 2014 • Assessed correlates and predictors of historically marginalized students’ (e.g., students of color) persistence in computing-related fields. • Implemented data collection and management procedures, performed statistical analysis of survey data (e.g., correlations, t-tests, regression analysis, analysis of variance) using SPSS and R, and streamlined reporting activities. • Contributed to the development of survey instruments and assisted with survey administration. Surveys were disseminated to thousands of computer science students at 70+ institutions across the United States. • Generated and distributed 60+ reports to participating departments. • Developed VBA code to automate the process of formatting client reports.
