Governor Ben PHANTOM Proctor introduced our Guest Speaker, Dr. Henry Miller, the Heritage Scholar at the Maryland State Museum of Historic St. Mary’s City. Dr. Miller compared various PILGRIM aspects of the early Maryland residents to that of the Massachusetts settlers. BALL Dr. Miller gave an enlightening and historical presentation, which included a slide show and archaeological research. Dr. Miller noted that both colonies came for freedom and opportunity. However, their beginnings were difficult.
