EXPERIENCE
ARTIST Self-Employed Visual Artist, Author, Publisher 2001 - present creative entrepreneur, curator, gallery exhibitor, art consultant (Baltimore MD, Washington DC, San Francisco CA)
IN THE PAST FIFTEEN YEARS, I have created more than 600 paintings, participated in more than 80 exhibitions, planned and scheduled events and collaborative arts programs; wrote four feature screenplays, shot and edited a short documentary video, also self-published my first novel
I CONTINUE TO WORK PRIMARILY in visual art, even as I collaborate on writing projects and reviews for What Weekly magazine, develop group grant proposals for performance art projects, attend fashion shows and prepare to launch a custom-designed online clothing boutique
AS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL TENANTS at LOAD OF FUN studios, I had an active role in developing the space from 2005 to 2009, including cleaning and maintenance, organizing and curating exhibitions, public relations, developing a web site, participating in Open Studios and hosting visitors from the BMA, MICA, URBANITE magazine, as well as filmmakers, photographers and other cultural organizations
