(popularly known as the Iron ore series of the Dharwarian system.) Ore deposit of Rajhara lease hold comprises 2 distinct blocks- Rajhara Main and Konkan -W. Rajhara main blocks contains mostly of Massive ore. Little quantities of laminated ore also occur in the western part of the main block confined only to the upper horizons. Laminated ore occurs mostly in the Konkan -W block. The ore body in Rajhara -main is somewhat boomerang shape having plunges in the N- E and S-W peripheries. Lithology comprises dominantly para metamorphic rocks namely BHQ, Phyllite, Mica Schist iron ore and Chlorite schist. Grade of Iron from 62 to 68% Fe. Violation pointed out for the Backlog of previous year exploration.
