Comedy Central's liquored-up narration of our nation's past is getting it's own exhibit, as The Museum of Drunk History opens up at the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles.

The free exhibit will run from January 9 through January 20, and is based on the Drunk History web series where host , along with a changing cast of actors and comedians, travel across the country to present the rich tales of our nation. Booze helps bring out the truth, and sometimes the truth is a little incoherent.

"For five seasons, Drunk History has provided viewers with a humorous take on our glorious past," said Maureen J. Reidy, Paley Center president and CEO, in a statement. "We're thrilled visitors to the Paley Center will have the opportunity to experience season six through this original and fun exhibit."

For the museum, created intricate dioramas representing each episode of the new season, set to premiere January 15 at 10 p.m. Scenes include "The Creation of Frankenstein," "The Occupation of Alcatraz," and "Murderess Row"-the story that inspired the movie Chicago-and will be full of hidden easter eggs from the upcoming season. The Museum of Drunk History is part of annual Paley Center exhibit designed to capture the unique combination of art and entertainment, and give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process that brings their favorite television programs to life.

"It's great to finally be in a museum," said Drunk History host Waters.
