SIGNIFICANT STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

My students have been accepted into graduate music programs at many schools, including: Indiana University (Early Music and Modern Bassoon), Conservatory, University of Michigan, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College, Southern Methodist University, Ohio State University, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, University of Colorado–Boulder, Louisiana State University, University of Akron, Ohio, University of North Carolina-Greensboro, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

They have also won jobs as performers in orchestras in the US and Mexico, won concerto competitions and have performed at international conferences. They have taught at and attended summer music festivals such as Rome Festival, Rocky Ridge Music Camp, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.

Former students hold bassoon teaching positions at Washington State University and University of Southern Oregon. They hold positions in ensembles such as the Navy Band, and have won jobs as music educators in numerous school systems throughout the US. ​
