Open to visitors from Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th February, the 2018 edition of Rétromobile held in Paris at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Park has been a real success. For any classic car enthusiast, this event is a very special occasion allowing event attendees to get up close to some of the most legendary and rare classic road and race cars, many of which are in original condition. This event, the 43rd running of the Rétromobile, saw more than 650 cars on show by classic car restoration garages or for sale by specialised auction companies. The winner of the Porsche 1978 Porsche 911 (930) 3.3 Classic Restoration 2017, Turbo Coupé presented by Porsche 911 Speedster 3.2 Kienle Automobiltechnick Turbo Look (1989) restored by Porsche Centre Velizy, near Paris. For its 70th anniversary this year, Porsche’s presence at Retromobile was impressive.

Porsche classic cars today include all the 356, 914, all the 911s air cooled from the F-model up to the 993 and 959, the transaxle models 924, 944, 928 and the 968, and also the Boxster 986 and the first 996 water-cooled models.
