PRODUCT INFORMATION

Product Overview Mouse monoclonal to

Antigen Description are highly conserved between vertebrates and invertebrates. It is a major constituent of synaptic vesicles and peptidergic secretory granules in all neurons examined so far. In addition, it is present on secretory granules of neuroendocrine cells. Synaptobrevins, , and the 25 kDa synaptosomal associated SNAP25 are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane.

Specificity This antibody reacts with native, denatured and recombinant protein Synaptobrevin (aa 1-118).
