(Working period- 1st March 2018 to 31stDec 2018) Activities – . Constructed 81 flood resilient bamboo Shelter for the flood victims. Constructed 3 non Provincialised school in 3 villages. Installed 2 raised flood resilient hand pumps in 2 villages. Constructed 1 raised toilet and 1 bathing cubicle. Distributed 81 water filters to 81 beneficiaries to ensure pure drinking water during high flood time. 100 Hand Pumps have been chlorinated in 3 villages with the help of PHED Bokakhat (Golaghat, Assam). 52 meetings cum orientation programs were being conducted on DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction), WASH (Water Sanitation & Hygiene), PHP (Public Health Promotion) & Chlorination. School Kits were being distributed to 500 needy students in 14 non Provincialised schools. Worked as a project Co-ordinator in North East Affected Area Development Society (NEADS, Dhekiakhowa, Jorhat) under the project called ‘Ensuring quality Education’ among the children of mishing community of Golaghat district, Assam. (Working period- 1st of June 2013 to 31stDec 2017). Activities- . Child Competency Assessment (CCA) was the core activity of the project to evaluate the quality of children’s education. It was held twice in a year among the students of the primary level. Formed TRG (Teachers Resource group) for monitoring and evaluating the quality of education in the lower primary schools. Teachers trainings were being conducted with the help of DIET (District Institute of Education and training) in Titabar & Dergaon. 35 child clubs at lower primary schools were being formed, where the children were being capacitated with other co-curricular activities. Tutorial classes were being conducted with the help of the village youth volunteers during flood time. Annual educational exposure was being also a significant part for enhancing & exploring children’s education at large. Regular medical camps were being organized to improve the health of the children and the community in the post flood situation. Worked as a Program Manager at Rural Volunteers Centre (Rural Volunteer Centre, Dhemaji, Assam) in a Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) project supported by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) at Dhemaji & Lakhimpur district of Assam. (Working period September 1st 2012 to 31st May 2013). Activities- . Serial mock drills were being held on DRR in every village with the help of the district administration. Community based cultivation method was adopted in the post flood situation by the flood victims. Formation of Task Force among the community for better coping mechanism in Pre-flood, during flood and in the post flood situation. 15 raised Hand Pumps were being installed to ensure pure drinking water in the community. 30 raised toilets and bathing cubicles were being constructed for better use in the high flood time by the community. Worked as Project Officer at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Guwahati) for Assam State Disaster Management Training Project at Guwahati, Assam. (Working period- June 21st to August 8th 2012). Activities- . Organized trainings on Disaster Management in collaboration with ASDMA (Assam State Disaster Management Authority). The participants were the Doctors, engineers, PRI members from every districts of Assam. Worked as a project co-ordinator at Gramya Vikash Mancha (GVM, Nalbari) under the project called ‘Mobilising Community on MGNREGA for Ensuring to Sustainable Employment & Development supported by action-aid at Nalbari district of Assam (Working period- 1st August 2011 – 20th June 2012). Activities- . Sensitizing the people about their rights & entitlements on MGNREGA.
