We would have to admit that we were fairly cautious about the prospects of Include when he first retired to stud. Despite having a very solid racerecord and pedi- gree, it had to be noted that he was a later maturing individual and that he was a son of Broad Brush, a stallion whose best previous son, Concern, proved a very disappointing sire. It didn=t take long for Include to prove the doubts groundless, however. In his first crop of two-year-olds in 2006, he came up with three stakes winners, headed by the GI Oak Leaf Breeders= Cup S. winner, Cash In- cluded. He was also represented by She=s Included, who didn=t win a stakes, but took third in the GI Del Mar Debutante S. Include has more than maintained the momentum this term with his first three-year-olds: in March, Etude became his fourth stakes winner with a score in the Private Terms S., and over the weekend, his daughter Panty Raid captured the GII Black Eyed Susan S.
