Dear Sir

Sub Am€ndment in Environment Clearance for expansion of present capacity o15.0 MTPA cement production to 5.0 MTPA cement production under Clausc 7 (ii) of Prior Environmental Clearance Ref: '1. Proposal No lAlMH/lND/19591/2@8 2. Appendix 1 (additional detailssought) dated l'lorl2oL7,

At the onset we are grateful lor the consideration of our Proposal No lA/MH/lND/19591/2008 that was discussed in the EAC meetrnB held on 2"d and 3'd Feb 2017.

As per the minutes we have been asked to submit the following I

i) Complance report from RO, ii) Pollution will not increase. iii) Revised norms are complying-

Our submissions are as under;

i) we are hereby enclosing the compfiance report from RO, MOEF, Nagpur vide File No 5_16/2008 (ENV) dared 08/05/2017. ii) We have got our Bag Filters of Cement Mills examined by an expe( third pany M/s Elex lndaa Pvt ttd. and they have submitted their repon vide letter ELEXINDIA/MKG/MR 0217 4637.00 dated 06/03/2017. Copy enclosed. Their observations are as under: . All 6 bag filters are operating and capable to perform at its derived output emission level for the gas flow rate of 42840 Mr/Hr (design) and inlet dust load of 526 gm/Mr (desiBn) for the MillVent Bag Frlters and forgas flow rate of65160 M3/Hr (desrgn) and inletdust load of95 Bm/M' for the Classifier Vent Bag Filters. . Under your cumulative increase rn current grindrng throuBhput from 160 TPH to 200 TPH, the fans and the baB filters have required marBin to cater to the dust load and gas flow. . Bat frlter units are designed to give the desrred emission based on its 8as flow rate and can be operated for any duration of the day (0_24 Hrs) without affecting itt emission value. The MOC of bag frlters is Poly Acrylo Nitrile which is best suited for current Cement Mill applications and latest emission norms _--z I

For increase of throu8hp'rt from 160TPH to 200TPH, the correspondang flow required is 41OOO Mr/Hr which is well under the design flow rate oI bag filter (ie 42840 Mr/Hr) The bags are suflicient enough to take care ofcorresponding increase in d'rst load (Bm/Mr) to give the desired emission below 25 mg/Nmr., means no increase in the pollution. The present motor capacity and static pressure of the fan is sufficient enough to absorb the pressure drop across the ba8 filter in vrew of increased fiow.

They have summarized that all 6 nos of bag filters operating and currently rnstalled are suitable to meet the desired emission norms under conditions of increased throughput of 200 TPH and as such there will rot be an increase in pollutlon load.

iii) We are complyinB with revised norms as also stated in the report of RO, MOEF Na8pur which include allour Kilns, CPP, Coal Mills, Cement Mills and Bag Filters. CEMS connected to all major stacks and also we have installed 3 Nos of CAAQMS and the real time data is being transmitted to CBCB and MPCB web site. Enclosed find screen shots of CAAQMS to CPCB.

we request you to grant us the Environment Clearance for an expansion in capacity from present 5.0 MTPA to 5 O MTPA Cement production for which we are seeking prror Environmental Clearance for expansion with increase in the production capacrty under clause 7 ( ii ) by process optlmization and increase in production of blended cement wrthout any capital expenditure.

ThankinS you,

Yours faithfully hr Manikgarh cement l"/ (RAJETIDRA XABRA) l\\ President

To President Ianikgarh Gm€nt Po Gadchandur oist Chandrapur 442 908 (lil.S-)

Dear Sir,

Sub: stdy of perfomance of Gment llill Bag fitteB (6 ilos) for an increas€d throughput of itills with incr€as€d running hour of Cement tlills Ret Your e-mail dated o5lozl2o77

0n your request we have carried out perfornance study of Bag Filters connected to the Cement Iilills in view of increased throughput and operating hours. Our observations are detaited betow: l.tiu. our conctusions are as under:

1. Att 6 bag fitters are operating and capable to perform at itj derived output emission tevel for the gas ftow rate of 42840 m3/hr (design) and intet dust toad of 526 gm/m3 (design) for the mitt vent Bag Filters and for qas ftow rate of 65160 m3/hr (design) and intet dust toad of 95 gm/m3 (design) for the ctassifier vent bag fitters. 2. Under your cumutative increase in current grinding throughput from 160 TpH to 200 TpH, the f"ns and the bag fitters have required margin to cater to the dust toad and gas flow. 3. Bag fitter units are designed to give the desired emission based on its gas ftow rate and can be operated for any duration of the day (O-24 hrs) without affecting its emission vatue. poty The MoC of bag fitters is Acryto Nitrite which is best suited for current Cement Mitt applications,

4. For increase of throughput from 160 IpH to 20OTPH, the corresponding flow required is 41000 mThr which is wett under the design ftow rate of bag fitter (ie 4ZB4O n1/Ht) bags 5. The are sufficient enough to take care of corresponding increase in dust Load ( gm/m3) to give the desired emission betow 25 mg/Nm3. 6. The present motor capacity and static pressure of the fan is sufficient enough to absorb the pressure drop across the bag fi[ter in view of increased flow.

Hence the cunentty instalred 6 nos of bag fitte* of the cement grinding at unit Ir is suitabte and capable to meet the desired emission nonns under conditionr ot ir.i.iiialir-gt put of zoo rpH.

This is for your information and record ptease.

Thanking you, You15 sincerety
