A: Exit the Church layby and turn right Church Road/B6252 heading south west: CAUTION! After 300meters take the first road on the right and stay on this for 1km until you reach the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

B: Turn right onto the canal towpath signposted Barnoldswick/ ! Do not double back under the road but carry on the Cafes/Pubs Canal heading in easterly direction. Stay on the canal towpath for 2.5 km. - C: CAUTION as you cycle under the A59 and carry on for 700meters until the next bridge, leave the canal and onto a track, Roadside Village Café which is the Pennine way. Carry on this for 0.5km, until you - cross a small river and the Pennine way then leaves the track.
