Durham Point Sedge Meadow Preserve

• 96.28 acres • Located in town of Durham, Sedge meadow is a part of the larger Crommet Creek conservation area. The Preserve contains diverse upland and freshwater habitats for many common and rare species of flora and fauna. Joanne Bass Bross Preserve • 453.61 acres • Located on the town line between Temple and Peterborough NH. The preserve is part of a large forest corridor and contains both high quality spruce forest and hemlock-hardwood-pine forest. • The Preserve has one trail, Spruce Knoll Trail, and part of the Madison Davis Trail passes through Joanne Bass Bross. • 232.94 acres (2 tracks) • Located in the town of Durham with 3 miles of undeveloped freshwater river frontage. Packer Bog Preserve • 74.75 acres • Located in Greenland, NH • Packer Bog preserve is surrounded by residential and industrial development. The preserve is one of the largest forested wetlands within the Great Bay and provides important wetland functions and habitat. There are no trail systems at this preserve.
