OBJECTIVE Performance modeling and implementation of complex unsolved problems.

EDUCATION Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science, 2005 from Visveswaraya Technical University, India.

PURSUING Masters in Computer Science, from the University of Arizona, Tucson. Current GPA of 4.0. Received a Graduate Registration Scholarship for Spring 2008.

CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS 1. Developing a parallel version of a genetic war simulation algorithm, to be implemented on an IBM Cell, Apple Xserver and SGI Altix processors, using MPI, threads and a Multi-Core Framework. Optimal performance was to be derived from the implementation. 2. Develop and implement an optimal performance model for Compressed Sensing based image reconstruction algorithm on the Cell processor. Specifically, MRI image reconstruction based on Non-uniform Fast Fourier Transforms (NFFT). 3. Performance measurements on encrypted, tamper-proof and obfuscated code. Implemented and measured secure code that’s described in several recent publications. Measurements were made based on hardware counters and hardware interrupts.
