February 11 SERIES SNAPSHOT Pinnacle Athletic Campus This afternoon’s game marks the eighth all-time meeting between Hobart and Robert Morris. The States- L 15-21 men hold a 5-2 series lead and have won each of the past three meetings.

February 18 Championship game Pinnacle Athletic Campus The winner of today’s Hobart-Robert Morris game will win the regular season cham- W 16-15 pionship. The victor will also host the NEC Tournament. The four-team NEC Tournament field is set and will also include Bryant and Sacred Heart. February 25 Boswell Field Common Ground W 16-8 In addition to their NEC opponents, Hobart and Robert Morris share three non-conference opponents this season, Canisius, Georgetown and Penn State. Both teams beat the Golden Griffins and lost to the March 5 Hoyas and Nittany Lions. The Colonials opened the season with a 15-11 loss to at PSU and, a week later, Bearcat Sports Complex the Statesmen opened its campaign with a 21-15 loss to Penn State. On March 7, the Hoyas handed RMU a L 6-12 12-7 loss and, four days later, topped the Statesmen 16-6. Hobart rebounded from the Georgetown loss with an 18-11 win over Canisius. Robert Morris beat the Griffins 12-7 on April 18. March 8 When Last We Met: April 9, 2016 Crown Field L 6-13 CHRIS ASLANIAN scored five goals and added two assists to lead Hobart to a 16-10 victory over Robert Morris on Boswell Field last season. RMU built a 6-3 lead about halfway through the second quarter, but Hobart March 14 drew even before the break thanks to back-to-back goals by Aslanian followed by Max Romm’s game tying Pinnacle Athletic Campus strike with 39 seconds left in the half. The Statesmen outscored the Colonials 5-2 in both the third and W 18-11 fourth quarters to secure the victory. SENIOR DAY March 18 Boswell Field Hobart is coming off a 15-8 victory over Mount St. Mary’s last Saturday. The Senior Day triumph was the W 17-5 29th win for the Class of 2017. The Statesmen haven’t had a class graduate with that many wins since the Class of 1996 left with 34 victories. March 25 A BROWN OF RENOWN Campus Field Senior attackman FRANK BROWN was named the NEC Co-Player of the Week after leading Hobart past L 7-8 Mount St. Mary’s with a career-high eight points. He scored a career-high six goals against the Mountaineers, tying Hobart’s Division I era game record, and added two assists. Brown leads Hobart with 26 goals and 40 April 5 points. He is tied for 18th among DI Statesmen for goals in a season and needs four goals to reach the top Boswell Field nine. Brown is tied for 19th on Hobart’s DI season points list, four points away from a spot in the top 11. L 11-17 X-CEPTIONAL FORTNIGHT April 8 Junior midfielder J. ANDREW SPALLANZANI has been nothing short of dominant at the faceoff X Sweeney Field over the past two weeks. In wins over Bryant and Mount St. Mary’s, he was 33-of-44 (.750) and grabbed 17 W 8-7 (OT) ground balls. Spallanzani was named the NEC Player of the Week for his efforts against the Bulldogs (13- 20, 5 GBs, goal). Against the Mount, he won 20-of-24 restarts and collected a game-high 12 ground balls. April 15 Spallanzani’s 20 wins and dozen ground balls are the most by a Statesman since CHARLES SIPE won 20 Boswell Field and picked up 13 ground balls against Loyola in 2013. W 13-6 ROOKIE REWARDS April 22 First-year JUSTIN SCOTT picked up his fourth NEC Rookie of the Week award on the strength of his Boswell Field four-point performance against Mount St. Mary’s. He scored a pair of goals and handed out a pair of assists. W 15-8 Scott’s second goal capped a 5-0 run by Hobart that turned a three-goal deficit into a two-goal lead in a span of just 2:38. Scott posted both of his assists during a 6-0 run that spanned the third and fourth quarters and April 29 ran just 5:23 off the game clock. Scott has 25 goals on the season, three shy of Hobart’s Division I era record Stadium for goals by a first-year. The standard was set by 2008 NLL Draft No. 1 overall pick DARYL VELTMAN ’08. 1 pm Scott is seventh in the NEC in goals per game (1.92). RECORD WATCH Hobart has scored 154 goals this season which ranks sixth on the program’s Division I era list. This year’s team is just 10 goals away from matching the 2004 team’s record. The Statesmen are 14th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 11.85 goals per game. The Coaches ON THE ATTACK Hobart’s starting attack of senior FRANK BROWN, sophomore CHRIS ASLANIAN, and first-year JUS- TIN SCOTT is among the nation’s scoring leaders.
