2019 PRESIDENT’S REPORT

SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY ACCOMPLISHING OUR MISSION Equipping students to discover and develop their divine design to serve Christ and the world through Spirit-empowered life, learning and leadership. From the President

Innovation is the fuel for every institution. It is the dynamic factor that enables organizations to thrive and grow. It is this driving force that empowers the advancement of knowledge, offers answers for seemingly unsolvable problems, and inevitably allows culture to grow. Constant innovation offers endless opportunities to provide hope for the future.

From college admission scandals to school closures, to an unprecedented level of student debt, America is clamoring for a better way to succeed in higher education. It can be accomplished, but the quest for it has to remain tireless. And this is our pursuit — to continually cultivate the improvement of higher education as we add new avenues of instilling knowledge in our students.

Here at Southeastern University, we constantly innovate how we educate students. Each step of the way we seek to listen, to audit our context, to clarify our mission and to align our next actions accordingly. We continue to relentlessly pursue innovation as vital to the growth and advancement of higher education.

We are inspired to foster an environment where students are compelled, supported and equipped to earnestly chase after the mission they have set out to achieve.
