PARKING Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Ind. There are mul ple parking op ons throughout the downtown area that are within walking distance of the Fieldhouse. The Virginia Avenue Garage, which charges a fee and is located directly to the east of the venue, connects to the Fieldhouse from the third fl oor of the garage via a walkway over Delaware Street. The entrance to the Virginia Avenue Garage is located off of Maryland Street.

At the conclusion of each championship game, members of the IHSAA Execu ve Commi ee presents the Patricia L. Roy Mental A tude Award to an outstanding senior par cipant. The recipients of this award, who were nominated by their principals and coaches, must excel in mental a tude, scholarship, leadership and athle c ability in basketball. Ms. Roy joined the IHSAA execu ve staff in 1972, was responsible for girls basketball from the incep on of the tournament series in 1976 un l her re rement in June 1999. Regarded both statewide and na onally as a pioneer in girls athle cs, Roy served on the IHSAA execu ve staff longer than anyone in the history of the Associa on. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, IHSAA corporate partner, presents a $1,000 scholarship to the school in the name of the recipient.
