Iveshead School Year 11 Results 2020 A message from Matthew Parrott, Headteacher

Iveshead is finally able to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our 2020 Year 11 cohort. This group of students have overcome an incredibly trying year to produce some truly fantastic results. This cohort are the first to complete the Iveshead three year GCSE curriculum and it has been pleasing to see the impact in the results gained.

This year will see a record percentage of Year 11 stay at Iveshead to join our Post16 where we will also be welcoming students from College and other local schools. We look forward to welcoming you back at your induction day on Friday 28th August. We do still have some limited space on courses so if you change your mind and would like to discuss staying on for A Levels at Iveshead then please get in touch with Mr James ASAP.

We say goodbye to those students that are off to continue their learning elsewhere after 6 years at High School and then Iveshead School. This year we say ‘good luck’ to those who are off to College, Stephenson College, Brooksby College and Derby College and we also send our congratulations and best wishes to those that are heading to the armed services and even to start their flying training. Well done everyone!

Iveshead School Year 11 Results 2020 A message from Alison Riggall, Chair of Governors

The Governors would like to say how proud we are of all our students – and of course their teachers. We congratulate you all on this year’s achievements. We know it’s been unbelievably hard for everyone; we especially remember the day at the start of lockdown when all our Year 11 students suddenly realized they would not be coming back to school. No prom, no chatting with friends and teachers about plans for the future. We are very pleased that the school has kept in good contact with you and that you have been helped to continue with your studies.

We look forward to welcoming many of you back in September into the Sixth Form – it will be so good to see you again! And for those students who are moving on to studies elsewhere, we give you our very best wishes.

Alison Riggall Chair of Governors Iveshead School.
