Known as the BBBB, a group of 20 young men who are mostly old school friends, colleagues and acquaintances and who work and live in the Bognor area, cycled from Bognor to Bruges over 4 very wet days in July, having trained for months before they left. Between them they have raised thousands of pounds from sponsorship and donations which they were given by very generous customers and friends. Once they had been told about the work of the Charity, they were totally committed to raising as much money as they could to help local children and their families. TheBBBB always end their training sessions at The Waverley pub in , so, on 10th September, with the help and support of the publicans, a party was held during which Oli Hicklin, the main organiser of the ride, presented Di Levantine with the final cheque for a staggering £22,300. Snowdrop can’t thank the lads enough for their tremendous efforts and support. Some of the monies raised by the BBBB have helped to fund a specialised wheelchair and adaptations to a mobility car for a Snowdrop family – the children seen here attending the party. support Snowdrop supporter CLAIR RILEY, together with family and friends The Managers and Staff of organised a fundraising Golf White Stuff in South Street Tournament in June in memory VIRGIN Chichester have chosen of Clair’s late husband, Chris. The article covered the many ways that Snowdrop supports families, and a young couple who have been helped by the Trust explained to Kate just how much help they had received since their son had Chairman, Co-Founder & Trustee Diana Levantine been diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening illness.
