Now available from O 2: HTC Desire S

MUNICH. Starting today, Telefónica Germany is offering the brand new HTC Desire S with the latest version of HTC Sense. The ultrathin , weighing just 130 grams, comes with ’s Android 2.3.3. . The HTC Desire S retails for a down payment of 39 euros and 24 monthly instalments each of 17.50 euros. The total price is 459 euros.

O2 is marketing the smartphone without SIM lock through O 2 My Handy. The device’s highly sophisticated design does not merely serve aesthetics: the virtual keyboard and multi-touch support ensure fast, simple and convenient handling. The 3.7-inch SLC display has 16.7 million colours at a resolution of 480x800 pixels. Beating inside the solid aluminium case is the new 1 GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor from .

The smartphone has memory space of 1.1 gigabytes which can be expanded up to 32 GB using an external microSD card. Thanks to HSPA and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n users can quickly surf the Internet, access social networks and the Android market. A digital compass, DLNA support, integrated GPS/A-GPS and a 3.5 mm jack for headphones round off the equipment package.

Despite the slim measurements of 115.5 x 59.8 x 11.63 mm (length/width/depth) the HTC Desire S offers enough space for a battery with 1.450 mAh.
