She graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. After graduating, she joined one of GE’s leadership programs and has been working there for over five years. Leah has lived in five different states and traveled internationally for work. After two years Leah and Lola! Great picture, Leah! of the leadership program, she decided to move to Newport, Ky., and work out of their downtown location in Cincinnati. Leah is currently a technical product manager for GE Aviation. She has been living at Monmouth Row for a little over two years! Leah decided to move to Newport because it is super close to downtown and it is surrounded by a lot of good restaurants. The biggest bonus is she gets to take the Southbank shuttle to the office. Nine months ago, Leah purchased the cutest little puppy named Lola Bear (or Lola Mae when she is fussing at her). She is an energetic, curious and always-ready-to-play little puppy. She spends most of her time looking out the window or sleeping while mommy works. In Leah’s free time, besides playing with Lola, she is very passionate about helping others, especially young girls. Most of her time is dedicated to supporting and working with various organizations like Girl Scouts, Girls Who Code and different ministries at her church. Even with work and volunteer commitments, she finds time to try different restaurants with friends and watch Netflix. As a transplant to the Cincinnati area, Leah maintains a close relationship with her family and friends back in Louisiana and travels home as often as possible. If you see her walking Lola, stop and say hello! Welcome to Monmouth Row! Please join us in welcoming our newest Residents here at Monmouth Row!
