The Battenkill Chorale recently returned from a thrilling choral tour of Austria and the Czech Republic. In addition to sold out concerts in Vienna and Prague, the Chorale was given special access to historical sites in the former Terezin concentration camp, where they sang in honor of the thousands who lived and perished there. Plans are underway for a 2014 choral tour to Estonia, Finland, and St. Petersburg, Russia. Mezzo soprano Susan Hermance Fedak has appeared with the Berkshire Lyric Theatre, the Glens Falls Symphony, and the Lake George Opera Company, and been soloist with many of the Capital District’s choral ensembles.
