UBS Parade Spectacular presented by U Stamford Town Center & The Advocate/Hearst Media Sunday, November 23, 2014 12 Noon–Stamford Downtown Presented by Stamford Town Center & The Advocate/Hearst Media

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Please join us at the 2o14 UBS Parade Spectacular, presented by Stamford Town Center and The Advocate/Hearst Media in Stamford Downtown on Sunday, November 23. This year’s parade promises to be the highlight of the holiday season. The Master of Ceremonies for the parade will be Alan Kalter from the Late Show with David Letterman. The parade features 16 colossal helium balloons and 11 award winning bands including the Sacred Heart University Marching Band, the Butler, PA Golden Tornado Marching Band and bands from Stamford and other parts of Connecticut and Long Island.

The UBS Parade Spectacular is recognized as one of the most outstanding parades in the country. It is a partnership among the City of Stamford, UBS, Stamford Town Center, The Advocate/Hearst Media, Stamford Public Schools and Stamford Downtown. In addition, dozens of community-minded corporations and organizations proudly sponsor balloons, bands and floats for the day of the parade.

This is an event you will not want to miss. The festivities start the day before, Saturday, November 22, at the celebratory Giant Balloon Inflation Party, sponsored by Point72 Asset Management. It is an extraordinary experience to watch the drama of giant helium balloons coming to life. Many of the balloons reach heights of 6o feet! New balloons this year include Abby Cadabby and Shrek. And, the Inflation Party features performances from the XPogo Stunt Team, dancing with Locust Performing Arts Center of Stamford, music, clowns, holiday characters, and of course the big man in red!

Also, don’t forget to come back to Stamford Downtown on Sunday, December 7 to see Heights & Lights, Rappelling Santa and Tree Lighting, presented by Reckson, A Division of SL Green Realty Corp. Join us as Brian Cashman, Bobby Valentine and Santa dazzle us by rappelling 22 stories from the roof of the Landmark Building. Then follow Santa and his entourage to the fabulous Tree Lighting and holiday music in Latham Park.

Come one, come all to these exciting events. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends and raise the curtain on a joyful and peaceful holiday season.

Sincerely,
