....................................................176 2005 American Express Championship ............................................142 Style Reminder: World Golf Championships–Cadillac Match Play There are four World Golf Championships events. World Golf Championships, of and unto itself, is always plural. At second and all subsequent references, the tournament may be called the Cadillac Match Play. The Cadillac Match Play is the third World Golf Championships event of the 2014-2015 PGA TOUR season as preceded by the HSBC Champions and the Cadillac Championship. The Bridgestone Invitational is the final World Golf Championships event of the 2014-2015 PGA TOUR season. PGATOUR.COM 2015 World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play Media Guide / 1 Format Overview and Glossary The tournament moved from its traditional February date and will now be held April 27-May 3, the week prior to THE PLAYERS Championship. Going forward, the 64-player Cadillac Match Play field will be divided into 16 four-player groups. Each group will play round-robin matches within their group on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The player with the best record in each of the four-player groups advances to the Round of 16 for single-elimination match play (in the event of a two-way tie in a group, head-to-head match results will be used as the tiebreaker; a three-way tie will require a sudden-death stroke play hole by hole playoff). The Round of 16 will be played Saturday morning, followed by the Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. The Semifinals will be Sunday morning, followed by the Championship Match and Consolation Match on Sunday afternoon. With this format change, fans are guaranteed to see the field in its entirety during the first three days of competition before players begin being eliminated. • 64 players, grouped into 16 groups of four players each for rounds 1, 2 and 3, held Wednesday to Friday. Groups will be determined during a live show on Golf Channel on Monday from Noon-1:30 pm ET. • At the conclusion of three matches, the player with the best win-loss record from each group advances to play traditional, single-elimination match play bracket with rounds of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals on the weekend. All matches are played to conclusions (no halved matches), including during pool play. • Ties are broken in pool play as follows: If two players are tied, their head-to-head match result determines the player to advance; if three players are tied, there is a sudden-death, hole-by-hole stroke-play playoff following the conclusion of all players’ in the group third-round matches to determine a winner (groups will be slotted together in the starting times and these playoffs could occur at different times on Friday). • The purse distribution for the event will be similar to past years, but payments for the players who do not advance beyond pool play will be based on the player’s record within the pool play round. Glossary of Match-Play Terminology Match Play: Match play is the game played by holes. Opponent: In match play it is never a competitor, always an opponent or player. Reckoning of Hole (status of match): Reckoning of holes is kept by the terms: so many “holes up,” or “all square” and so many “holes to play.” Halved Hole: A hole is halved when each side holes out in the same number of strokes. All Square: A match is all square when each side has won the same number of holes as the other side, or when each hole has been halved. Concession of next stroke, hole or match (Rule 2-4): When the opponent’s ball is at rest or is deemed to be at rest under Rule 16-2, the player may concede the opponent to have holed out with his next stroke and the ball may be removed by either side with a club or otherwise.

Conforming Golf Balls Effective January 1, 2014 The List of Conforming Golf Balls will be updated effective the first Wednesday of each month. The updates will be available for download the Monday prior to each effective date. Please visit www.usga.org or www.randa.org for the latest listing. *Please note that the list is updated monthly (i.e., golf balls are added to and deleted from the list each month). The effective period of the Conforming Ball List is located on the top of each page. To ensure accurate rulings, access and print the Conforming Ball List by the first Wednesday of every month. HOW TO USE THIS LIST To find a ball: The balls are listed alphabetically by Pole marking (brand name or manufacturer name), then by Seam marking. Each ball type is listed as a separate entry. For each ball type the following information is given to the extent that it appears on the ball.* 1. Pole marking(s). For the purpose of identification, Pole markings are defined as the major markings, regardless of the actual location with respect to any manufacturing seams. 2. Color of cover. 3. Seam markings. For the purpose of identification, Seam markings, on the equator of the ball, are defined as the minor markings, regardless of the actual location with respect to any manufacturing seams. *NOTE: Playing numbers are not considered to be part of the markings. A single ball type may have playing numbers of different colors and still be listed as a single ball type. BMW Corporate Communications Media Information BMW International Open 30th March 2017 Kaymer to tee off in Munich: German golf fans can look forward to watching the two-time major winner at the BMW International Open. • The only German winner of the BMW International Open to date, Martin Kaymer, to return to München-Eichenried in June. • All the other six Germans on the European Tour will also be in action: Marcel Siem, Max Kieffer, Florian Fritsch, Bernd Ritthammer, Alexander Knappe and Sebastian Heisele. • Tickets available at http://tickets.bmw-golfsport.com. Munich. In a history spanning almost 30 years, the BMW International Open has only produced one German winner: Martin Kaymer triumphed in 2008, when the tournament celebrated its 20th anniversary at Golfclub München-Eichenried. This year, the 32-year-old will return to the scene of that success, as he bids to claim a second title. The three- time Ryder Cup winner will be joined at the BMW International Open (21st to 25th June) by the remaining six German pros playing their golf on the European Tour this season. “I am already looking forward to the BMW International Open in Munich,” said Kaymer. “It is particularly nice for me to play in front of the home fans in my native Germany. Furthermore, the victory at the 2008 BMW International Open will always remain a very special title for me – that is why I am always so pleased to return to this fantastic tournament.” Kaymer defeated Denmark’s Anders Hansen in a play-off in 2008, following a real rollercoaster ride of a final round.
