Result: Raiders 24, 49ers 13  The Raiders defeated their crosstown rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, 24-13 at O.co Coliseum to improve to 2-11 on the season. The win ends a three-game losing streak against the 49ers and ties the Battle of the Bay at 4-4, giving the Raiders their first win over the 49ers since a 34-28 overtime victory on Oct. 8, 2000.

 The win improves the Raiders to 7-6 in the all-time series against San Francisco, giving them their first win over the 49ers in Oakland since a 23-10 victory on Nov. 4, 1979. The Raiders are now 3-3 at home against the 49ers and 2-2 in home games in Oakland.

 With the win, Oakland improves to 2-5 at home and 2-4 at O.co Coliseum this season. The Raiders have won back-to-back home games for the first time since Weeks 6 and 8 of 2013 (Oct. 6 vs. SD and Oct. 27 vs. Pit.).

 The Raiders’ offense posted their first back-to-back touchdown drives of the season in the second half, The first was an 8-play, 80-yard drive (4:09) capped off by a TD pass to FB Marcel Reece. The second drive went 80 yards in 11 plays (6:23) and ended with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Carr to TE Mychal Rivera, giving the Raiders a two-score lead in the fourth quarter.

 The Raiders’ NFL-leading red zone offense punched it into the end zone on three of their four trips inside the 49ers’ 20-yard line, improving to 17-for-22 (77.2 percent) on the season.

 Of the five NFL offensive linemen with receptions this season, three of them are Oakland Raiders: T/G Khalif Barnes, G Gabe Jackson and T Donald Penn. The only other team since 1950 to complete passes to three different linemen in a season was the 1988 (Brian Baldinger, Ray Donaldson and Chris Hinton).

Individual Notes: Offense  QB tossed three touchdown passes in the game, the second most in his career, and the second three-touchdown game of his young career. He is now tied with Ben Roethlisberger for the 11th-most touchdown passes by a rookie since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger.  Carr’s 286 completions this season are the eighth most all-time by a rookie quarterback.  Carr’s passer rating of 140.2 is a new career high and the seventh highest single-game passer rating in franchise history (min. 20 attempts). It is also the sixth-best passer rating by a rookie quarterback since 1960 (min. 20 attempts).  TE Mychal Rivera led the Raiders in receiving with seven catches for 109 yards with one touchdown. That marks Rivera’s first 100-yard receiving game and the first by a Raider tight end since Brandon Myers (130 yards, 12/2/12 vs. Cle.).  Rivera’s 5-yard touchdown pass from Carr in the fourth quarter was the eighth of his career, giving him sole possession of eighth among Raider tight ends.  Rivera passed Rickey Dudley (82) for the most receptions by a Raider tight end in his first two seasons of action, and also overtook Doug Asad (789) for the fourth-most receiving yards by a Raider tight end in his first two seasons.  FB Marcel Reece recorded his first touchdown of the season, and the ninth receiving touchdown of his career, coming on a 9-yard score in the third quarter. Reece is now tied with Alan Miller for the seventh-most receiving touchdowns by a Raider running back.  Reece finished with seven receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown, passing Harvey Williams for the sixth-most reception among Raider running backs.  WR James Jones has caught at least two passes in every game this season, with that streak continuing today. Only five Raiders (14 total times) have completed a 16-game season with two receptions in each contest: Tim Brown, Todd Christensen, Charlie Garner, Jerry Porter and Jerry Rice (last: Porter, 2005).  T Donald Penn hauled in his third-career receiving touchdown and his second against the 49ers in the second quarter to give Oakland a 10-7 lead. Penn now has four career receptions for 20 yards (5.0 avg.) with three touchdowns.  Penn is now tied for fourth all-time among offensive linemen with three touchdown receptions, tying him with Swede Hagberg, Ronnie Lee and Heinie Miller.  Penn is just the third offensive lineman in franchise history to catch a touchdown pass, joining T/G Khalif Barnes (2010) and G Rick Cunningham (1996).  WR Vincent Brown recorded his longest reception as a Raider, a 20-yard gain, in the second quarter.

Individual Notes: Defense  S Brandian Ross intercepted Colin Kaepernick on the game’s first play from scrimmage for his first-career pick and the sixth of the Raiders’ season.  DL Antonio Smith recorded two sacks of Kaepernick in the game to give him three sacks this season. Smith has at least 2.5 sacks in 10 straight seasons and is one of just five players (Jared Allen, Trent Cole, Julius Peppers and DeMarcus Ware with at least 2.5 sacks in every season since 2005.  DE Benson Mayowa recorded the first sack of his career, bringing down Kaepernick for a 2-yard loss and forcing a 49ers punt in the first quarter.  S Charles Woodson recorded his 59th career interception when he picked off Kaepernick in the fourth quarter, moving him into 11th all-time in NFL interceptions. The interception was his 21st as a Raider, giving him sole possession of 11th place all-time in franchise history.  LB Khalil Mack recorded a career-high two sacks, bringing down Kaepernick for a loss of five and nine yards, bringing him to three sacks on the season.  Mack became the fifth rookie this season to record a multi-sack game, and the seventh Raider rookie to do so, the first since Trevor Scott on Dec. 14, 2008 vs. New England. 12.7.14

Individual Notes: Special Teams  K Sebastian Janikowski connected on a 57-yard field goal, his longest of the season, on the Raiders’ opening drive. Janikowski’s last field goal of at least 57 yards came on Dec. 16, 2012 vs. Kansas City.  Janikowski has now converted 47 field goals from 50 yards or longer, second most in NFL history. He trails Jason Hanson (52) by five for the all-time lead.  His first attempt moved Janikowski ahead of Olindo Mare (446) and ties him with Jim Bakken (447) for the 19th-most attempts in NFL history.  P Marquette King booted consecutive second-quarter punts inside the 49ers’ 10-yard line, the first downed at San Francisco’s 5-yard line and the second downed at the 9-yard line. King now has 26 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line with just two touchbacks this season. He entered Week 14 tied for third in the NFL for punts inside the 20 (leader: Colton Schmidt, 26).
