4.1 - Concept and Objectives

The concept model for the development provides a focus to the new community facilities, offering the SuDs a new primary school to reinforce this hub. A new village green located on the area currently occupied by the nursery huts and tired looking play area will provide a new heart to the village. A green which

is bordered on all sides by housing or community landscape phase 2 loop facilities. Located away from the Brae is it a safe structure/links place for play and gathering. Feeding into this heart are green arteries which are built up from the well established landscape framework.
