RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress shall request by written correspondence that the Association of Manitoba Municipalities oppose the abandonment in place of any National Energy Board regulated pipeline located anywhere within the jurisdictions of the Association ’s member Municipalities, and that the Association of Manitoba Municipalities insist, rather, that any Federally regulated pipeline must be removed upon abandonment.

RESOLVED that the Council of the Rural Municipality of South Cypress authorize the purchase of a 2011 (demo) Caterpillar 160M Motor Grader serial #B9E00752 c/w a new Capital I postless snow wing and a 5 year/7500 hour Cat Premier full machine warranty, from Toromont Cat of Brandon, Manitoba, with the trade -in of a used 2007 Caterpillar 160H Motor Grader serial #ASD00750, for and at the agreed to net purchase price as specified in the February 14, 2012 sales quote.
