Sue Bonar COO, Sirius Computer Solutions

As Chief Operations Officer for Sirius, Sue Bonar is responsible for operational support of the entire Sales and Services organizations. This includes product, software, maintenance and renewals from quote to order, logistics, compliance, profitability programs, vendor selection/onboarding, services quote to project completion and services staffing. One of her current top priorities is leading a Business Transformation Project implementing all new systems across the entire organization delivering an end to end integrated solution to accelerate the client experience by building a relevant, scalable, best practices system leveraging the best of breed features of the new technologies. Her focus is ensuring the sales, services and core support teams have the most efficient and automated tools to deliver the most exceptional client experience possible. Ms. Bonar has played a critical role in the integration of 13 acquisitions over her 24 years at Sirius. She also serves on Operations and Services Executive Councils for numerous vendors and manufacturers. In 2012, she was inducted into the Sirius Hall of Fame, and in 2015 was named to CRN’s 2015 “Most Powerful Women of the Channel” as well as the elite subset of “Women of the Channel Power 50” within Solution Providers. Ms. Bonar earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University. She is currently a member of the Junior League of , involved with the United Way, Women’s Leadership Council and Children’s Bereavement Center.

Mike Fulton President, Fulton Property Group LLC

Mike has been President of Fulton Property Group since 2010 when he formed this investment firm focused on multifamily communities throughout and . Since then the company has successfully acquired and redeveloped more than $300 million worth of multifamily communities. Through Fulton Development Group, Mike is pursuing the development and construction of new class A multifamily communities. From 2003 to 2010 Mike was a Partner with Embrey Partners Ltd where he was responsible for the company’s development activity in a number of markets within Texas and Colorado. In this capacity he was active in the development of eight luxury multifamily communities comprised of over 2,300 units. Prior to joining Embrey, Mike led a M&A advisory practice in with a specialization in corporate mergers and acquisitions for a variety of private equity groups. Prior to this Mike was part of the corporate finance teams for two different public companies gaining experience in both the restaurant and healthcare industries. In this capacity Mike directed strategic acquisitions and participated in numerous capital market transactions including an IPO. Mike began his career as a financial analyst in the Structured Finance Group of Arthur Andersen in City consulting investment on asset backed securitizations and the development of valuation models for a variety of derivative products. Mike is a native of San Antonio and lives there with his wife Jaimee and their three children. Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Finance. Mike serves a number of civic and non-profit organizations including as a Board Member for the Alamo Area Council for and as a Committee Member for Young Life. He is past-Chairman of the Urban Land Institute San Antonio District Council, a member of the ULI Multifamily Council, and a member of National Multi Housing Council.

Julie Hill Senior VP Liquidity & Asset Management, iHeartMedia

Julie Hill serves as Senior VP-Liquidity & Asset Management for iHeartMedia, Inc, formerly Clear Channel Communications, a leading global radio, digital and outdoor advertising company. During her tenure at iHeart/Clear Channel, she has held a variety of leadership positions within the finance area including mergers & acquisitions, treasury, financial planning, strategic planning and liquidity management. Prior to joining Clear Channel in 1999, she also worked for US West Communications, SBC Communications and Ernst & Young. She has a BS from Trinity University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mark Mays Principal, Rocking M Capital and Mays Family Enterprises

Mr. Mays is Principal of Rocking M Capital and Mays Family Enterprises. He worked at Clear Channel Communications from 1989-2013 where he had various positions including Chairman/CEO. During that time frame, Clear Channel grew into a Multi Media Company in Radio, Outdoor, Television and Live Events. At one-point Clear Channel owned over 1,200 Radio Stations, over 600,000 outdoor advertising displays, and various Television Stations and Live Event venues which operated in 65 countries and generated over $8 Billion in Revenue. In addition to participating in various volunteer activities, Mark also serves on the Board of Trust, the Board of Alamo Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, the Texas Biomedical Research Foundation and the Southwest Research Institute Board. Mark has been recognized for his community involvement including receiving the 2005 Spirit of Life Honoree from City of Hope. Mark graduated from Vanderbilt with a B.A., cum laude, in Economics and Mathematics in 1985. He also received an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University in 1989. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Mark and his wife Patti have six children.

Henry Sauer Founder, Team Inflection Point

As a former educator and current business leader, Henry is passionate about entrepreneurship education. He began his career as a middle school science teacher and coach. Following an MBA at Rice University, Henry came to San Antonio to Rackspace where over a 13 year tenure he lead every HR function of the company and eventually took leadership of all of HR for the company globally. Since leaving Rackspace, Henry founded a leadership and talent engagement consultancy, Team Inflection Point. He and his wife Mary Kessler Sauer have one child who graduated from Alamo Heights and three others are current students in the district.

David Adelman Principal, AREA Real Estate, LLC

David M. Adelman is the Founder and Principal of AREA Real Estate, LLC. Mr. Adelman oversees development and asset management for a portfolio of mixed-use, industrial and office properties. A native of San Antonio, Mr. Adelman is known for his vast knowledge of the city and for his ability to close even the most complicated deals. Having purchased his first rental property while in high school, David officially began his real estate career in Austin, Texas in 1989 while attending The University of Texas and continues to be a devout Longhorn fan.

Cory Basso Group VP Marketing & Advertising, H-E-B

Cory Basso has been in advertising and marketing for more than 30 years. He has worked on major campaigns for Toyota, Farmers Insurance, SONY, Heineken, Coors Light, Capital One and many others that have run nationally and Worldwide. He is currently Group Vice President of Marketing, Adverting, Digital and Branding for H-E-B, where he leads a team of 130. His wife is Dorothy, Daughter Anabelle (13 – 8th); Brandt (18-Senior) and Hudson (20 at CU Boulder. They have lived in Terrell Hills for 15 years, moving here from NY.

Sarah Cernosek Senior Vice President of Concurrence, Frost

Sarah Cernosek has been with for 18 years and currently serves as the bank’s Senior Concurrence Officer for the San Antonio and Corpus Christi regions. For the entirety of her first 14 years at Frost Bank, Sarah worked in the commercial leading group managing a diverse portfolio of mid to large sized C&I companies. She now serves in the credit administration side of the bank helping to structure loans to best protect the bank’s safety and soundness yet continuing to meet the credit needs of our customers. In addition, she chairs Frost Bank Commercial Loan Policy Committee and helps to oversee Frost’s commercial loan training program also known as “FSU” (approximately 40-50 statewide Associate Relationship Managers annally).

Trish DeBerry President/CEO, The DeBerry Group

As president, Trish DeBerry oversees and manages every aspect of the agency. A passionate community advocate, Trish has helped guide initiatives to reform education, improve transportation and boost quality of life for residents. Trish has a hands­on work ethic, getting down in the trenches for our clients to create aggressive campaigns that influence public perception and get results regardless of the client’s industry or market. Her experience in politics, land and property development, retail, television, communications and public relations helps her identify the client’s needs and direct overall account strategy.After a decade as a reporter, anchor and producer at KENS­TV (San Antonio’s CBS affiliate), she launched her career in public relations as a founding partner of Guerra DeBerry Coody, a successful public relations and marketing agency, and in 2012 started her own firm. Trish has been an instrumental leader in cultivating long­standing client relationships with H­E­B Grocery Company, Vanguard Health Systems, Spurs Sports and Entertainment, and Brooks. She was a key force in extending the city’s visitor tax to fund $415 million in improvements to the AT&T Center, extend the by 14 miles and build youth sporting facilities throughout the city.Negotiating clients through complicated community issues is Trish’s forte. She’s been at the helm of projects including the Go Public campaign to drive support for Bexar County ISDs, Bexar County Flood Control, bond packages for SAISD and NEISD, and critical projects that part of the historic $850 million San Antonio bond, overwhelmingly approved by voters in 2017. One of her proudest accomplishments has been her work for David’s Legacy Foundation including the swift passage of David’s Law, anti­cyber bullying legislation in Texas.Trish is a founding board member of the South Texas Hispanic Fund and commits her time on boards for the Alamo Heights Foundation, David's Legacy Foundation, San Antonio Women's Hall of Fame, United Way and serves as the Chair of the Board for Centro Partnership. Trish’s recognitions and accomplishments throughout her career are numerous, including the NEISD Outstanding Alumni Award, National Association of Women Business Owners Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, and most recently the 2017 San Antonio Women’s Hall of Fame Award and 2017 San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce Comet Award. Carlos Garcia VP, Natural Gas M&O , BP

Carlos Garcia has been involved in the energy industry for close to 20 years, much of that in Mexico. He currently is the Vice President for Marketing and Origination for Mexico at BP Energy Company and as such is responsible for physical natural gas sales in country. Prior to joining BP Carlos was the President of Frontera Energy, an energy consulting firm he founded. Carlos also spent several years in the exploration and production space as the International Business Development Manager for Lewis Energy, a vertically integrated E&P company focused on development of unconventional resource plays. He was also the Vice President of Business Development for the energy storage startup General Compression. Prior to this he was Director for Business Development for Vestas North America, Vice President for the marketing and communications firm Garcia 360 and also spent 11 years as co-founder and CEO of IGASAMEX, a natural gas transportation and marketing company in Mexico. As head of IGASAMEX, Carlos was responsible for building and operating the first privately owned natural gas pipeline after the Mexican energy regulatory changes of 1995. Carlos earned his B. S. in Accounting from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. Carlos is a native of Mexico and now resides in San Antonio, Texas.

Luis Garcia President and Lead Strategist, MarketVision

Luis is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Advertising and has been an agency executive for over 25 years, having worked for GSD&M in Austin and Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar & Associates in San Antonio before starting his own firm Garcia 360, which he later merged with MarketVision. During his career, Luis has worked on accounts such as Coca-Cola, Audi of America, P&G, Kraft, Hershey, Smucker’s, Mass Mutual, MillerCoors and the CDC. He now serves as the President of MaketVision, spending his time on strategy and Design Thinking projects, while also serving on the Board of Directors for Gray Television, an owner and operator of TV stations across the country. Luis is an entrepreneur at heart - he has been involved in five start-ups, advised countless others on their branding and marketing and most recently helped the business incubator LaunchSA with their re-branding platform.

Michael Girdley Investor, Geekdom Fund

Michael Girdley is an entrepreneur and investor. He is managing director of the Geekdom Fund, an early stage venture capital firm focusing on tech. Michael also sits on the boards of multiple companies including Codeup, the RealCo Seed Fund Program, Grok and Alamo Fireworks. Previously, his career spanned engineering and marketing roles at RSA Security, BEA WebLogic and Codeup. Michael’s published books on computer programming have been translated into four different languages. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. Dr. Kennon Guglielmo CEO, Genisys Controls, LLC

Kennon Guglielmo holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Institute of Technology. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1992, Dr. Guglielmo moved to San Antonio and began his professional career at Southwest Research Institute in the Engine Research division. In 1994, he left SwRI and founded EControls - a provider of advanced electronic powertrain control systems for the industrial and heavy-duty equipment markets. EControls merged with FW Murphy in 2009 to form what is now Genisys Controls, LLC. Dr. Guglielmo currently serves as CEO of Genisys, an officer of Helios Technologies, and a director of Rush Enterprises.

Randy Harig CEO, TRTF/VelocityTx, Partner at LiveSmall LLC

Randy Harig has 40 years experience in the medical industry. This includes direct sales to customers as well as all levels of management within Healthcare. Randy was the President and CEO of an investment firm directed at medical properties, Managing General Partner of the Nix Medical Center, President and CEO of a regional manufacturers representative company and Chairman of the board of a Contract Research Organization. Randy holds positions in many organizations across San Antonio, and in 2016 was appointed Chairman of the Texas Research and Technology Foundation. In September of 2017, Randy changed positions to President and CEO of TRTF where he later created VelocityTX and became President and CEO of both organizations. Randy is married to his beautiful wife Kay, has four amazing and smart children, four awesome grandsons and an adorable granddaughter.

Tracie Hervey Managing Director, Alamo Kitchens

Tracie Shelton Hervey is the founder of Alamo Kitchens, a culinary co-working space. Alamo Kitchens was started to fill a void Tracie saw in the San Antonio culinary space. Winner of the 2018 Launch SA Venture Challenge, Alamo Kitchens: provides a shared use commercial kitchen for food & beverage entrepreneurs, hosts classes and private events.

Elaine Hicks Senior VP/CIO for HOLT CAT

Elaine Hicks is responsible for managing IT infrastructure and operations for HOLT CAT and its affiliates, including information security, applications, business systems and customer support. She is also responsible for leading overall technology strategy. Elaine joined HOLT in 2011 as IT Business Development Manager and was named Senior Director of Information Technologies in 2012. She was promoted to her current position in 2014. In her earlier positions at HOLT CAT, Elaine helped define the strategic IT direction for HOLT and implemented an Information Technologies Innovation Council (ITIC) to provide governance and direction for all IT activities. Under her leadership, the ITIC created a formal process for the prioritization of IT project requests and provided increased visibility into all IT activities. Other accomplishments included defining a formal roadmap for the HOLT CAT dealer business system (DBS) and leading a transformation of the enterprise computer infrastructure. She also led the development of a formal strategy to leverage mobility at HOLT CAT using cloud storage and electronic signature capture. Elaine earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. She is a native of San Antonio. Elaine and her husband, Tim, have a daughter and two sons.

Dean Hobbs Principal, Finance Strategy at Deloitte Consulting

Dean is a principal in Deloitte Consulting’s CFO Services practice and leader of the Austin Finance office. He has over twenty years’ experience in consulting and executive roles in consumer business companies. Dean’s primary focus is on helping Retail and Consumer Products CFOs drive margin and productivity improvements using analytics, talent/organization, and digital core technology. In roles ranging from CFO to board member to operations leader and P&L owner, he has led large-scale acquisitions, divestitures, and performance initiatives resulting in over $4B of profit enhancement and $1B of working capital improvement by aligning executives, transforming cultures, and strengthening process, organizations, and brands.

David Hornberger Senior VP, Glass Wealth Management Company

David evaluates direct investments into public securities, private businesses, and other alternative assets, for clients of Glass Wealth Management Co., a multi-generational investment firm in San Antonio. An Alamo Heights alum, he graduated from Rice University with a degree in electrical and computer engineering and lettered in football. He then obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law. David’s legal career began with a Silicon Valley law firm and included representation of Fortune 100 tech companies, start-up enterprises, and family offices. He then focused exclusively on investments and asset allocation with JPMorgan prior to joining his current firm.

Ed Howie has leveraged his over 25+ years of marketing and operational leadership with Chick-fil-A, Inc., Bread Company, and H-E-B Grocery to support his clients and lead his team of communication experts through unique collaboration in growing sales and market share by developing and enabling operationally-sound, visually-compelling, brand-centric solutions. BTYcreative serves clients throughout the country, with offices in San Antonio and Atlanta. With depth in both marketing and operations, Ed and his team have an unusually successful track record in maximizing his clients’ brand potential. Ed is also a gifted communicator, presenter, and facilitator. Ed’s core strengths are: ideation, strategic, woo (winning others over), connectedness, and positivity. Ed and his wife, Kathryn, have two children, both Alamo Heights graduates: Sarah (Class of 2013) and Parker (Class of 2017). In addition to leading BTYcreative, Ed is a founding partner of gusto! restaurants in Atlanta, Georgia, and a member of Entrepreneurs Organization. In 2015, Ed became a certified spin instructor. He teaches indoor cycling several times a week at Joyride Cycling Studios in San Antonio and frequently at exhale in Atlanta. Ed previously served as Director of Food Service Marketing for H-E-B Grocery Company, a $15 billion regional grocery store chain. H-E-B is long regarded as one of the most innovative retail organizations in the world. Prior to H-E-B, Ed led the re-branding efforts of Atlanta Bread Company-Bakery Cafes, as Director of Marketing. He built his career with Chick-fil-A for 17 years—the last 10 of which he served on the Corporate Operations Team, while leading multiple brand development projects. Ed graduated from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism-Advertising. He also completed his MBA at Kennesaw State University while traveling 120 days a year at the same time.

Jim Jeffery Executive Vice President of Corporate Banking, Frost Bank

Jim has been with Frost Bank for 24 years after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Degree in Accounting/Finance. Earned an MBA from University of Texas at San Antonio. His current involvement with professional and civic organizations includes: Greater Chamber of San Antonio Board Member, Alamo Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America Board Member and Council President and Board Member of Avance – San Antonio. Married to Debby (22 years), sons Andrew (15) and Matthew (13) and a daughter, Sydney (11).

Chad Jones CEO, Apex Sign Group

A San Antonio native, Chad currently serves as an owner and President / CEO of Apex Sign Group, a national sign company that offers a wide array of products primarily serving the on- primus electrical sign industry nationally, regionally, and locally. With offices in San Antonio, , Knoxville, and El Paso, Apex operates in 38 states and Puerto Rico. Purchasing Southwest Signs in the mid 90’s, he revamped its business focus to a national sign company with a laser focus on customer service, developing a company that has enjoyed growth each year of his tenure. By shifting its focus from a small, local market to a nationally competitive company leading the industry in customer service and innovation, Apex Signs has catapulted to one of the industry leaders. In 2016 Chad rolled up all brands each division operated under into the Apex Sign Group brand. Apex Sign Group has and will kept using basic, common sense strategies that focus on sound business models while generating and maintaining new clients. Relying on a sound operating base, Jones attributes this tremendous growth and much of his success to an exceptional team of employees, all focused on a common goal of being the best. Before his sign business career, he worked for a family owned real estate company in San Antonio, Texas. Graduating from Alamo Heights High School and Texas Tech University he has stayed active and engaged in many business and community organizations since then.

Anne Krause Executive Director, Hemisfair Conservancy

Anne Krause has served as the President and Executive Director of the Hemisfair Conservancy since its inception in 2014; the organization has raised millions of charitable dollars under her leadership. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Air Force (USAF) Academy and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Anne's Air Force career culminated in an assignment as the Executive Officer of the USAF Thunderbirds demonstration team; when she transitioned to the civilian world, she volunteered and held leadership positions in numerous non-profits and also served as a strategic philanthropy consultant. Anne and her husband Paul have three children in the district.

Kathleen Mayes Founder, MaGi Foods, LLC

In July 2007, together with her husband, Matt Mayes, Kathleen and Matt launched MaGi Foods LLC. Since inception, MaGi Foods has operated its food manufacturing headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. Kathleen is the integral “Chief Taste Officer,” the passion behind all its recipes, safety, quality programs, and training programs.Born and raised overseas, Kathleen spent her childhood traveling and living abroad with her family until high school. Kathleen attended and graduated from Saint Mary’s Hall in San Antonio, Texas. In 1994 Kathleen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History. In 1997 Kathleen completed her MBA in Finance from Saint Mary’s University. For the next 10 years, Kathleen worked for RG Barry Corporation as a Corporate Planner, and for SBC as a Finance Area Manager. Kathleen and Matt Mayes have been married for the past 18 years and are the proud parents of Jamie and Abbey.

Carter Mayfield VP Corporate Development, Southwest Disposal, LLC

Carter Mayfield graduated from Alamo Heights High School. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas and he received an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of . Carter worked as an independent pricing consultant and later joined Deloitte Consulting in San Francisco where he advised clients on pricing. He returned to San Antonio in 2007 to work for SOS Liquid Waste Haulers, which he sold in March of 2018.

Robert Miggins CEO, Go Smart Solar

Robert Miggins founded Go Smart Solar with Jason Pittman in 2016. Their goal is to make solar more accessible to businesses and residents. Prior to Go Smart Solar, he spent 15 years as a senior executive at Rackspace and Peer1 Hosting with roles ranging from SVP Business Development, VP Sales, GM Rackspace UK. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and 4 kids.
