CAP. XII. An Act to amend articles 692, 5918 and 5931 of the Revised Statutes of the Province of Quebec, respecting the seizure of the salaries of public officers. [Assented to 3Oth December, 1890.] ER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent H of the Legislature of Quebec, enacts as follows :

Article 558 of the Code of Civil Procedure, as it is c. c. p art. contained in article 5918 of the said Revised Statutes, is 008amended, amended by replacing paragraph 5 by the following : “ 5. Wages and salaries not yet due, except the salaries As to seizure of public officers or employees of this Province, whether alld permanent or not, and those of city or town clerks in incorporated cities or towns, which are liable to seizure in the proportions mentioned in article 628 of this Code.”

3. Article 6 28 of the said Code, as it is contained in ia. art. 6 2 8 article 5931 of the said Revised Statutes, is amended b y aniendecL replacing paragraph 2 by the following : fc4 2.
