ELECTION COMMISSION of PAKISTAN NOTIFICATION PART III ] THE GAZETTE OF PAKISTAN, EXTRA., JAN. 22, 2019 63(1) ISLAMABAD, TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2019 PART III Other Notifications, Orders, etc. ELECTION COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the 16th January, 2019 No. F. 1(1)/2018-Confd (1).—WHEREAS, sub-section (1) of Section 137 of the Elections Act, 2017 read with sub-rule (1) of rule 137 of the Election Rules, 2017 thereof, provides that every Member of an Assembly and Senate shall submit to the Commission, on or before 31st December each year, a copy of his statement of assets and liabilities including assets and liabilities of his spouse and dependent children as on the preceding thirtieth day of June on Form B. WHEREAS, sub-section (3) of Section 137 ibid further provides that the Commission shall, on the sixteenth day of January, by an order suspend the membership of a Member of an Assembly and Senate who fails to submit the statement of assets and liabilities by the fifteenth day of January and such member shall cease to function till he files the statement of assets and liabilities. 63(1—12) Price : Rs. 20.00 [73(2019)/Ex.     Press Release Star-Studded UBL Cricket Team awarded the ‘UBL Colour’ Sima Kamil, President & CEO UBL (2nd row – center) along with the UBL Cricket Team, at the UBL Colour Presentation Ceremony held recently at the UBL Head Office in Karachi. The UBL Cricket Team boasts nine cricketers who represent the Pakistan Cricket Team in various formats of the game. Sima Kamil, President & CEO UBL recently awarded the ‘UBL Colour’ to the Bank’s Cricket Team. She met with the team at the UBL Head Office in Karachi, where all players and the team officials were awarded the UBL Team Colour (Blazer). Senior executives of UBL were also present on the occasion. The UBL Cricket Team, winners of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the past, consists of various players who have represented Pakistan officially in the various formats of the game. Rumman Raees, Shan Masood, Hammad Azam, Muhammad Asghar, Sohaib Maqsood, Mir Hamza, Ehsan Adil, Sohail Khan and Muhammad Nawaz are members of the UBL Cricket team and have played for the Pakistan Team as well. Legendary batsman, Younus Khan is the team’s captain. Team Manager is ex-Pakistan Cricketer, Nadeem Khan. UBL has a rich tradition of being an advocate of sports, especially cricket.     ELECTION COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN NOTIFICATION Islamabad the 28th May, 2013 No.F.6(3)/2013-Cord.-WHEREAS, Article 106 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan provides for number of seats reserved for women and Non-Muslims in the Provincial Assembly and also provides that the members to fill seats reserved for Women and non-Muslims shall be elected in accordance with law through proportional system of Political Parties’ lists of candidates on the basis of total number of general seats secured by each political party in the Provincial Assembly. AND WHEREAS, section 47A of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 provides that for the purpose of election to seats reserved for Women and non-Muslims in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies, the political parties contesting elections for such seats shall within the period fixed by the Election Commission for submission of nomination papers, file separate lists of their candidates in order of priority for seats reserved for Women and non-Muslims with the Chief Election Commissioner or, as he may direct, with the Provincial Election Commissioner concerned. AND WHEREAS, the political parties were required to file their lists of candidates in order of priority in respect of seats reserved for women in the National Assembly with the concerned Returning Officers by 31-03-2013. AND WHEREAS, such lists of candidates filed by the political parties with the concerned Returning Officer by 31-03-2013 are at Annex-A for information of all concerned.
