The rates above entitle the hiring party up to 3 hours of travel up the Weka Pass Railway from the scheduled time of departure from the Glenmark Station in Waipara.
Our train is available for hire on any day with the exception of our notified public Running days (below), Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Whilst we will do our best to provide the locomotive requested, the Weka Pass Railway reserves the right to substitute motive power at short notice due to operational reasons or fire restrictions.
Public Running Days 2017
As a general guideline, the travel time between Glenmark (Waipara) and Waikari (and vice versa) is 40 minutes. This increases to 50 minutes if a photographic stop is requested.
