Chattanooga Lookouts complete five-game sweep of Mississippi Braves Staff | Times Free Press | July 4, 2017

* Monday's recap: The Lookouts completed a five-game sweep of the Mississippi Braves, concluding the series with a 4-2 win. Levi Michael's three-run home run in the seventh inning rallied the Lookouts for the win. Edgar Corcino added an RBI double in the eighth, assuring Stephen Gonsalves of the win. Gonsalves (5-3) scattered eight hits, allowing two earned runs and striking out six. Nick Anderson came on in the ninth for his first save. Corcino, Nick Gordon and Alex Perez each had two hits for the Lookouts. The bottom of the Braves order had given them the lead in the fourth when Joe Odom and Connor Lien both had two-out RBI hits. Teh Lookouts improved to 10-1 in teh Southern League's second half, and 52-29 overall.

* Next up: Game one of a five-game series against the Tennessee Smokies at AT&T Field is tonight at 6:15.

* : Kohl Stewart (1-4, 4.50) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, while the Smokies will make a game-day decision.

* Honors: Chattanooga reliever Ryan Eades was named Monday as the Southern League of the week. Eades pitched five innings of perfect relief last week, striking out nine and allowing no base runners.
