Beatnik is a brand that manufactures only in Spain, to offer its customers worldwide our designs along with the quality and artisan tradition of the best shoemakers in Spain.
The logo and brand clearly show our influences. The love of music, from jazz to R&R, through blues and soul and with it, our passion for literature and beat attitude to life. If to this we add film and pop art of the 50s and 60s, we think already you can locate what we are and what we seek.
Our brand was created in early 2014 to provide the best pieces of craftsmanship possible, manufactured one to one using the finest raw materials we can find in the best tanneries in Europe, combining a classic British design with a contemporary twist and above all, being very comfortable to its owner. The best quality at a competitive price.
Manufacturing process
The main workshop where we manufacture our parts is in center Spain and has over 40 years doing the best pieces crafted mainly for export to European markets.
It takes more than 85 steps to go from flat to scrap assembled and ready to dressed shoes, with most of the steps performed by hand. Previous work design, manufacture of the shoe last and all phases of testing in the hands of professionals who have performed thousands of shoes, ensures that the resulting shoe last will have all that
knowledge.
The selection of raw materials, the search for European tanneries for the best leather that fit perfectly to every design and every need of use is another vital part of the whole process. Experience when working this leather, the dedication for each process time, care and pampering in the finishes and the precise settings and details, is what produces the final quality just in sight. And the total comfort in use.

About us
Fortunately, we are more now, but who started all this project were Elena and Rafael. We come from very different worlds, but ultimately complementary. Elena has always been working in companies related to technology in different sectors, including fashion and Rafael has spent his entire career developing international business brands and always with premium quality products.
In addition, each in his personal life is what it is and we cannot deny that for several decades now, have experienced firsthand the culture and underground art and music scene in its various facets.
And what we have done with our project is to unite all we have learned, with the elements that we would like to find the best product and service possible.
