As school history, tallying 10 JAN. 26 NORTHWESTERN 1:15 pm head coach, Gard has led the Badgers to a mark of 58-36 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists vs. Coppin St. Jan. 29 at Nebraska 7 pm (.617) overall in his first 4 seasons, the 3rd-highest win percentage in program history (min. 60 games). Washington (95.9%) is the only major conference Feb. 9 at Michigan 11 am school with a higher percentage of returning points than Wisconsin. FEB. 18 ILLINOIS 7 pm In Tuesday's win over Coppin State, senior Ethan Happ recorded just the 2nd triple-double Feb. 23 at Northwestern 7:30 pm in school history, posting 10 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 12 assists (page 4). Feb. 26 at Indiana 8 pm Preseason AP All-American Ethan Happ continues his assault on the UW record books. He currently ranks 7th in UW history in points (1,551), 2nd in rebounds (886), 14th in MAR. 2 PENN STATE Noon assists (282), 6th in blocks (114) and 3rd in steals (179) - more on page 7. MAR. 7 IOWA 6 pm UW welcomes back a pair of players who missed the final 23 games of last season with Mar. 10 at Ohio State 3:30 pm injury: sophomore guard D'Mitrik Trice (foot) and redshirt freshman guard Kobe King (knee). In Tuesday's season-opening win, Trice led all scorers with a career-high 21 points Big Ten Tournament - Chicago, Ill. (5-9 3FGs) and King added 8 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. Mar. 13-17 at Big Ten Tournament The Badgers demonstrated their improved depth in the opener as the UW bench combined NCAA Tournament for 30 points, including 16 from junior Brevin Pritzl. Last season, UW never had more than Mar. 19-20 Round 1 25 bench points in any game and only topped 20 points twice in the final 18 games. Mar. 21-24 Rounds 2-3 In 4 seasons under Greg Gard, Wisconsin has a total of 6 wins over teams ranked in the Mar. 28-31 Sweet 16/Elite 8 top 10 of the AP poll, going 6-7 in such games. Among Big Ten teams in that era, the April 6-8 Final Four (Minneapolis, Minn.) Badgers own the 2nd-highest such win total and win percentage (Michigan 7-7, .500). The Badgers look to return to their usual place in the postseason in 2018-19.
