Academic Nephrologist University Health Network and University of

The Department of Medicine at the and the University Health Network (UHN), Division of Nephrology, are seeking to hire an academic nephrologist with demonstrated excellence in the medical education and expertise in chronic kidney disease, home dialysis and other forms of kidney replacement therapy (including transplant). The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021, or shortly thereafter.

The successful candidate must hold an MD degree, be eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in nephrology and have, or be eligible for licensure in and will have completed training in clinical nephrology and an MSc, PhD or equivalent training in medical education. The individual will work alongside a vibrant multidisciplinary research and clinical team and will contribute in all aspects to perpetuate the Division’s vision to provide excellence in patient care, research and teaching. S/he will focus on 75% of his/her time on clinical care and 25% on scholarly work.
