Applications must come from individuals or organisations serving people under 25 years of age who live in the parishes of Eye, Athelington, Bedfield or Horham. The special grants are intended to cover expenses not provided for by the Local Education Authority. These might include the cost of purchasing books, clothing, tools and instruments, course fees for educational purposes, or in preparation to enter a trade or occupation. If you would like to apply for a grant, you can obtain an application form by writing to Louise Bernard; Clerk to the Trustees, Eye Grammar School Fund; 2 Lowgate Street, Eye, Suffolk, IP23 7 AS or telephone 01379870787. The special grants are intended to cover expenses not provided for by the Local Education Authority.
