THE DIALOGUE Oct. 2016

Executive Board General Membership Meeting: Oct. 5, 2016 First Wednesday of each month, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Chair Belmor Park Clubhouse, 2101 S 324th St, Federal Way Tim Burns 253-874-6292 1st Vice-Chair Dan Turley 206-819-7397 From The Chair 2nd Vice-Chair Tim Burns Kim Dixon 253-922-6242 Crunch Time-The general election is less than 40 days from now (November 8) and we need, yes Secretary need, all hands on deck to win up and down the ballot. There is still a lot of work to do, and the candidates cannot do it alone. Our list of endorsed candidates and issues is elsewhere in this Sharry Edwards 253-315-1804 newsletter. In order to be endorsed by the 30th LD Democrats, a candidate or issue must receive at Treasurer least 60% approval by the members present and voting when the endorsement is considered. We do not take these endorsements lightly. Most of the candidates and issues have been through an Naoma Zanetti 253-661-6606 interview process with our endorsement committee and are then recommended to the State Committeeman membership for consideration. Many of the candidates have attended and spoken at our monthly James Zanetti 253-661-6606 meetings. State Committeewoman How can you help? The most effective campaigning is one-to-one, candidate to voter. Our local 30th District candidates, and Kristine Reeves are doorbelling their shoes off to meet Ginny Leach 253-924-0432 as many voters as they possibly can. But what can you do? Devote at least one hour a week to King County Male Delegate knock on doors, phone call to voters, wave signs at intersections, put up yard signs or just talk with your family, friends and neighbors. Every vote will be important. Mike and Kristine each won their James Zanetti 253-661-6606 respective primary elections and are poised to win the general election, but need your assistance to King County Female Delegate be victorious on November 8.
