Considered by some to be the most perfect example of a cathedral in England, Salisbury Cathedral is home to the best-preserved version of the Magna Carta and has the tallest spire in the country. Excursion features: cathedral visit in the morning followed by lunch and free time for shopping in Salisbury.

This pretty seaside town is situated on the mouth of the River Wey on the English Channel coast. The beautiful sandy beaches, rich heritage and spectacular coastline make it a firm favourite holiday destination. Excursion features: a town trail with free time for shopping in the town centre.

Bath (full day)  6-7hrs  2hrs

Bath is the largest city in Somerset and famous for its Roman Baths and the abbey which was founded in the 7th century. Excursion features: a town trail including visit to the Roman Baths followed by packed lunch near the abbey. Resume town trail in the afternoon with time for shopping and sightseeing.

Corfe Castle (half day)  1-3hrs  1hr

Dating back to the 11th century, Corfe castle is one of the earliest castles in England to be made using stone; it now stands as a ruin. Excursion features: visit to castle.

4 Stonehenge (full day)  6-7hrs  1hr 50mins

This unique and powerful prehistoric monument dates back over 5,000 years. The largest stones weigh over 50 tonnes each and it is believed some of the smaller ones were transported to the site from over 100 miles away. Excursion features: Tour of the stone circle, the Neolithic Houses and time to explore the interactive exhibition.
