Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest was held on Saturday 29 October at the home of Mistress Mairi Jean and Mu’allim Garsiyya. Lord Rannulf Sweartfeax joined the festivities along with his remaining mead from previous years.

Person in History

Sanada Nobushige (Japanese: 真田 信繁) (1567 – 03 June 1615) was a from the (戦国時 代 1467 – c. 1603). Sanada, the Crimson Demon of War, was an excellent battle strategist and lead many battles in his lifetime.

Sanada died during the summer siege of Castle. Exhausted and wounded Sanada allowed himself to be decapitated reportedly acknowledging his inability to fight further and granting his enemy permission to take his head.

Sanada is better known by the name (Japanese: 真田 幸村) though historically he is referred to by his actual name. He is an important figure in Japanese history and within pop culture.
