Sightings of a Large Black Cat by members of the community and reported to Christine Coffey and recorded on a private data base but also passed on to DPI, NPWS and HCC for their investigation and records.

This data does not include sightings that may be recorded by DPI or NPWS who do not report information to Christine Coffey. The data also excludes many people who have rung Christine Coffey or one of her colleagues but refused to go on the data base less they were made a fool of by the media.

The attached data has been collated by suburb and by electoral area and information on reported sightings of more than one cat.

This data precludes reported animal predation and loss of stock recorded on the data base also attributed to a large carnivore believed to be a “large cat”
