Anti-KCNMB2 monoclonal antibody, clone T64-43 (DCABH-10309) This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Product Overview Mouse monoclonal to KCNMB2

Antigen Description Regulatory subunit of the calcium activated potassium KCNMA1 (maxiK) channel. Modulates the calcium sensitivity and gating kinetics of KCNMA1, thereby contributing to KCNMA1 channel diversity. Acts as a negative regulator that confers rapid and complete inactivation of KCNMA1 channel complex. May participate in KCNMA1 inactivation in chromaffin cells of the adrenal gland or in hippocampal CA1 neurons.

Specificity No cross-reactivity against BKBeta1, BKBeta3 or BKBeta4. Not yet validated for use in mammalian brain.

Immunogen Fusion corresponding to amino acids 1 - 41 (MFIWTSGRTS SSYRQDEKRN IYQKIRDHDL LDKRKTVTAL K; N-terminus) and 218 - 235 (KLTQYLSLLC ERIQRINR; C- terminus) of Mouse KCNMB2 (UniProt ID: Q9CZM9).
