Environmental & CRZ Clearance for Resort project by M/s Kapico Kerala Resorts Pvt. Ltd.
The resort is located at Sy. Nos. 263/1, 263/2, 263/3, 263/4, 266/1, Panavally Village & Panchayat, Cherthala Taluk, Alapuzha District, Kerala on Nediyathuruthu island near Perumbalam Island located in Vembanadu lake, Alappuzha District, Kerala. The project is located at Panavally Village which is falling in Panchayat limits of Panavally Grama Panchayat, Cherthala Taluk, Alapuzha District, Kerala.
The construction of resort project was done in 2007. During this time, the CRZ regulation in force was CRZ Notification, 1991. The resort project is in Nediyathuruthy Island near Perumbalam Island located in Vembanadu lake. Nediyathuruthy Island is falling in the Panavally Grama Panchayat and the land for the project confirms to the land use. As per CRZ Notification, 2011 for the project site falls within CRZ – III.

Total domestic Water Req. = 20 KLD
Total sewage generated = 16 KLD
Sewage Disposal Facility = Sewage Treatment Plant & Recycling
Treated Water Available = 15 KLD
Source of Water = Stored Rain water in tank / pond (Non- flushing req.) (Rainy days & Non-rainy days), Kerala Water Authority (Non-flushing req.) (Non-rainy days), Treated waste water from STP (Flushing Req.) (Entire year).
Total Power Requirement = 16,000 kWh/ Day
Source of Power = Kerala State Electricity Board
Total Capacity of D. G. Sets = 1010 KVA x 2 nos.
Connectivity :- The resort is on the Nediyathuruthu island near Perumbalam Island located in Vembanadu lake, Alappuzha District, Kerala. The Nediyathuruthu island is well connect to the main land through boat jetty.
The nearest railway station (Ezhupunna Railway Station) is about 7.5 km. and Cochin Int. Airport, Nedumbassery is about 36 Km. away from the project site.
