Grant of Post Graduate Allowance to Medical Officer of BRO

12. GOI, Min of Road Transport & Highways, BRDB vide their letter No F No BRDB/ 03/ 100/1997/GE-1 dated 20 Jun 2011 has conveyed the sanction of President of India for grant of Post Graduate Allowance @ Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per month and Rs 600/- (Rupees six hundred only) per month for possessing Post Graduate Degree (s) and Post Graduate Diploma (s) recognized under India Medical Council Act 1956, respectively, to the officers upto the level of Chief Medical Officer (Non-Functional Selection Grade) of BRO. This allowance will be granted on the same terms & conditions as stipulated in Min of Health & Family Welfare OM No A.45012/1/87-CHS.V dated 24 Aug 1987 and A.45012/1/87-CHS.V dated 02 Nov 1989. The rates of this allowance shall automatically increase by 25% whenever the Dearness Allowance payable on revised pay structure goes up by 50%.

Grant of Annual Allowance to Medical Officers of BRO

13. GOI, Min of Road Transport & Highways, BRDB vide their letter No F No BRDB/ 03/ 100/ 1997/GE-1 dated 20 Jun 2011 has conveyed the sanction of President of India for grant of Annual Allowance @ Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per month to Medical Officers of Border Roads Organisation having Post Graduate qualification recognized by Medical Council of India. The General Duty Medical Officer without recognized Post Graduate qualification will be granted Annual Allowance @ Rs 600/- (Rupees six hundred only) per month. This allowance will be granted on the same terms & conditions as stipulated in Min of Health & Family Welfare letter No A.45012/20/97-CHS.V dated 02 Sep 1998. The rates of this allowance shall automatically increase by 25% whenever the Dearness Allowance payable on revised pay structure goes up by 50%.

Approval of the President of India for the revision of the Ration money in lieu of full ration to GREF Officers to be at par with Army Officers with effect from 01 Apr 2010 to 31 Mar 2011 received from GOI, Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways, BRDB vide their letter No BRDB/03/138/2000/GE-I dated 08 Jun 2011 as under:-

23. A Medical Examination camp was organised by Med Dte at Adhoc MI Room for GREF Offrs / Pers of HQ DGBR wef 13 Jun 2011 to 17 Jun 2011. The following medical examination were carried out :-
