Easter is an important Christian festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There are many different customs for celebrating Easter around the world. The Friday before Easter Sunday (Good Friday) and the Monday after are given as a bank holiday in the UK. Eggs and rabbits are associated with fertility, spring and new life. Children eat chocolate eggs and they have Easter egg hunts for eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny.

See if they can tell you why (it’s a bad joke on ‘excellent’ and ‘eggs’). Warmer Tell them that they are going to find out about some non- religious Easter celebrations.
