• There is a need for consultative and collaborative processes between all levels of government, industry, civil society and research institutions to conduct studies and share information on waste management.

• Continuous engagement with Municipalities to find innovative and identifying opportunities for cost saving (waste related).

• Encourage Municipalities to formulate partnership with industries through Public Private Partnerships. • Skilled qualified passionate officials responsible for waste management to be appointed.

• Pursue all Municipal Councils to approve and adopt their IWMPs.

• Waste awareness campaigns at schools, institutions and general public to be intensified.
